Get found on Google and the map as a local business

Google Business Profile, consistent listings, and the technical basics that move local rankings.

If you want to show up when someone nearby searches for what you do, three things carry most of the weight: a complete Google Business Profile, the same business details everywhere online, and a site that is technically clean. Get those right and you have done most of the job.

Claim and complete your Google Business Profile

Your Google Business Profile is what shows on the map and in the little panel next to your name. Claim it, then fill in everything: category, hours, phone, website, photos, and the services you offer. A half-filled profile ranks below a complete one, and it gives customers fewer reasons to choose you. Keep it current, especially your hours, because nothing loses trust faster than a customer who arrives to a closed door.

Keep your name, address, and phone identical everywhere

Search engines cross-check your details across the web. If your address is written one way on your site, another way on a directory, and a third way on your profile, that inconsistency counts against you. Pick one exact format for your name, address, and phone, and use it everywhere. It sounds small. It matters more than most people expect.

Make your reviews count

Reviews are one of the strongest local signals, both for ranking and for trust. The goal is not to chase a number. It is to make sure the genuine reviews you earn are visible and answered. Asking happy customers at the right moment is its own piece of work, and once you have those reviews, they should be doing double duty: reassuring the next customer and telling Google you are worth recommending.

The technical basics that help

You do not need a perfect website, but a few basics feed local search directly. Clear page titles and descriptions. Structured data that spells out who you are and what you do. Pages that load quickly and work on a phone, since most local searches happen on one. These are the same clean facts that AI assistants read too, so the work is not wasted on one channel.

How progress is measured

Local work shows results you can watch. Rank tracking tells you where you sit for the searches that matter. Your Google Business Profile gives you real numbers: how many people saw you, searched for you, called, or asked for directions. Those are the figures to report on, month by month, so you can see the movement rather than take it on faith.

If you would rather have all of this handled for you, in French, German, and English, that is the Local layer of Get Found.

Reactivation is pay-for-results. Everything else is month to month, with no lock-in.
