Control
How much control you keep with an AI employee
You set the level. It starts where you are comfortable and grows as you trust it.
The levels of control
You choose how much your AI employee does on its own. Here is what the settings look like.
Supervised
The AI: Drafts, prepares, and monitors.
You: Approve anything before it reaches a customer.
Assisted
The AI: Runs routine outbound like reminders and follow-ups.
You: Set the plan, then spot-check the work.
Autonomous
The AI: Runs whole tasks like email and campaigns on its own.
You: Watch the log and change the level any time.
You start where you are comfortable and move up as you trust it. The higher levels open up over time.
How much control you keep is up to you. You set how much your AI employee does on its own, from checking everything with you before it goes out, to letting it run whole jobs like email follow-ups and marketing campaigns by itself. You start wherever you are comfortable, and you turn it up as your trust grows.
You set the level
The level of control is yours to set. At the lowest level, the AI prepares and drafts, and you approve anything that reaches a customer. At the highest, it runs entire tasks on its own. Most businesses start cautious and open up over time. There is no single right level. There is the level that is right for you today, and you can change it whenever you like.
Where most people start
At the beginning, it makes sense to keep a close eye. The AI does the low-risk work on its own: answering questions about the status of your jobs, drafting messages and content, monitoring, and getting things ready. Anything going out to a customer, like an email or a piece of live content, you approve first. You get the help without giving up oversight.
Letting it do more
As you watch the work and see it hold up, you let the AI do more without signing off each time. This is where it starts to feel like a real employee rather than a tool. At the higher levels you set, it can run things like appointment reminders, follow-ups, and marketing campaigns on its own. We are building live demos where you can watch the AI handle these from start to finish, so you can see exactly what a higher setting looks like before you choose it.
A person is still there
A real person at Cadre sets your employee up and is there when you want one. Think of them as the manager in the background, not someone re-checking every message forever. The more you hand over, the more they step back. They stay accountable and they stay reachable, and that does not change with the setting.
The guardrails that do not move
Two things hold at every level. You can always see every action the AI has taken, in a plain log, so more autonomy never means less visibility. And work that involves regulated personal data stays inside careful bounds rather than being handed to the AI to do freely. Those are what make moving up a level a considered choice rather than a leap of faith.
What is coming
Today you set your level with us directly. Soon you will set it yourself, in your dashboard, and move it whenever you like. The live demos of the AI running email and campaigns on its own are on the way too. We will tell you when both arrive. Until then, the principle is already true: you decide how much your AI employee does on its own.
